RECYCLING
About the project:
Valuing the principles of solidarity economy, the cooperative seeks to provide paid activities for young people and adults, with special attention to citizens over 45 who have difficulty returning to the labor market, in addition to having a positive environmental impact.
We believe that recycling recycles lives. Therefore, we aim to value the work of recycling cooperatives. Sorting waste correctly and using it as raw material for new products is part of our job, but we are also capable to provide different groups with waste management and environmental education services. The Direto e Reto project came to reduce the number of middlemen in the market chain. We go straight to the consumer and together we send the waste to the right place, without depending on a company, and we generate income for the Grajaú community.
A execução do projeto está ocorrendo em 3 etapas:
Etapa 1: Criação dos materiais de comunicação e compra dos tecidos para fazer os absorventes de pano.
Etapa 2: Criação do cronograma junto com as instituições parceiras para marcar as rodas de conversa sobre o assunto e fazer a contratação de costureiras assistidas pelas instituições.
Etapa 3- Realização dos encontros e rodas de conversa e distribuição dos absorventes e dos materiais de comunicação (posts nas redes sociais, vídeos e folhetos).
Results:
We created a service catalog for the cooperative to diversify cash inflows;
We value other expertise that the cooperative already has and operates, such as environmental education and waste management through the offer of other services
We professionalize the provision of services within the institution to reach other clients
It would look like Natasha Kido - we told Cooperpac's story at the Megacities Shortdocs Festival and its story was ranked among the 20 most inspiring in the world.
O projeto Luas surgiu dentro de um grupo formado por três jovens participantes do programa “Jovens pela Sustentabilidade”, Gabi, Ana e Lívia, junto com a nossa equipe que é 100% formada por mulheres.
A tecnologia usada para os absorventes foi desenvolvida pela artesã Bibi Banzatto, e estilista Camila Cavalcante.
O projeto também teve a parceria com os Centros de Cidadania da Mulher Capela do Socorro e Santo Amaro, a Ong HeraArtemis Sul e o Grupo Escoteiro Almirante Tamandaré.
